A mature leader needs both: the power to act (gifts) and the character to sustain it (fruit). If you have gifts without fruit, you are a "noisy gong"—impressive but annoying.
This isn't just having good advice. A "Word of Wisdom" is a supernatural fragment of God's omniscience applied to the future. "It is a revelation of the mind of God concerning people, places, or things... usually regarding the future."
Think of it as Divine Strategy. When a business is failing, or a family is in crisis, and logic says "give up," the Word of Wisdom provides a creative solution that no human mind could conceive. It is the "how-to" for an impossible situation.
While Wisdom is about the future, Knowledge is about the present or past. It is knowing a fact you couldn't possibly know naturally.
Jeremy explains: "It is the revelation of facts... without the aid of the senses." It's when you know someone is struggling with a specific issue without them telling you. Why does this matter? Because it bypasses defenses. When you tell someone a secret of their heart, it proves that God sees them. It builds instant trust and opens the door for healing.
We live in a world of spiritual noise. Discerning of Spirits is the ability to identify the source of an influence. Is this person speaking from their ego, from a demonic spirit [toxic pattern], or from the Holy Spirit?
Jeremy clarifies: "Discernment is not suspicion." Suspicion comes from a wounded heart; discernment comes from a guarded spirit. It is the "security system" of the church or organization, detecting threats before they manifest as destruction. It allows you to distinguish between a wolf and a shepherd.
Why struggle in the dark when you can turn on the light? The Revelation Gifts are the "eyes" of the body. They allow us to see what is hidden, know what is secret, and solve what is complex.

The difference is the motive and the source. Judgment comes from a critical spirit and seeks to condemn. Discernment comes from the Holy Spirit and seeks to protect or redeem. Judgment says, "Look how bad they are." Discernment says, "I see a trap here; let's avoid it or fix it."
You can learn to cooperate with them. You cannot manufacture them (they are gifts), but you can position yourself to receive them by "earnestly desiring" them (1 Cor 12:31) and by practicing listening to the subtle nudges of your intuition [Spirit]. Risk is required to step out and say what you are sensing.
