Addiction recovery and accountability groups

I build recovery teaching from cases I have walked through in Platte County living rooms and church basements. One ranch hand's relapse cycle taught me that accountability groups fail when they skip the inventory step; a single mother's two-year sobriety showed how sponsorship density predicts retention. I write so neighbors can see the same patterns in their own stories. I hold a bachelor's in counseling and have led Celebrate Recovery ministry for fourteen years, documenting what actually holds when the meeting ends.
